These are among the most common types of tub sold. They consist of one-piece thin stamped steel shells coated with a heat-fused porcelain enamel. Porcelain enamel is a substantially vitreous or glassy inorganic coating bonded to metal by fusion at a temperature above 800 degrees F.

What Is Cultured Marble?

Cultured marble and granite is a cast polymer product comprised of approximately 75% natural crushed marble or granite, and 25% polyester resin. 

The marble filler is chemically bonded with resins to create a matrix which can be molded into an infinite number of shapes and sizes to meet diverse design needs from shower walls, bases, counter tops, tub decks and skirts and vanity tops to name a few.

It is more durable than porcelain, resists mildew and stains, is leak-free and easy to clean. Moreover, custom designed cultured marble is available at a surprisingly affordable price.

porcelain ceramic will not ignite or burn, as will synthetic fixtures; it's immune to burns from cigarettes and open flame.

Sanitary Finish
